Harriet Brunker
Chief Financial Officer
Harriet Brunker joined Bethel in December 2017. Prior to joining Bethel as Chief Financial Officer, Harriet served as Controller at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank for three years. Harriet obtained finance and accounting experience before joining the nonprofit world in a variety of industries consisting of public accounting, telecommunications, ACH accounting, and insurance, including several years at Unum in the Corporate Budgeting department. Harriet has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Milligan University, and is a member of the Tennessee Society of CPA’s. Harriet’s broad experience in accounting and volunteer work gives her the unique experience to address many of the challenges of a non-profit while also having a heart for the children Bethel serves. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra Youth Orchestra, as Treasurer of the DuPont Community PTA Board of Directors, as a coach for North River Soccer Association, and choir leader and Sunday School teacher for toddlers at Stuart Heights Baptist.
In her free time, Harriet likes watching her boys play sports, and spending time with family and friends.
